Hydroton grow rocks are a special kiln-fired, lightweight aggregate that is super-heated and formed into pebbles 8-16 mm in size. The ceramic shell and inner pore structure retains moisture and releases it back to your plant's roots as needed. Grow rocks will not compact, ensuring excellent aeration for the life of your plant. It is reusable and lasts indefinitely, making it a great value. Grow rocks are excellent in net pots for ebb ; flow and drip systems. Measures 16.8-inch length by 12.7-inch width by 3.3-inch height.

I am a hydro grower and hydrotron media is the absolut best for supporting roots and allowing oxygen to penetrate and holds the right amount of moisture in the "off pump" cycle.
Great product, dont think I will ever use anything other than Hydroton pellets. I was worried that the 10l bag wouldnt cover what I needed, but once it got here it was fine. I have plenty and extra left over, fills 10 5" pots and 6 3" and I still have some in the bag. Price is great, ten bucks for the amount you get, its a great deal!
